Frame City Killer for Xbox 360 Delayed

With all the news of forthcoming game releases come some disappointments. Eager Xbox fans awaiting the release of Frame City Killer will have to wait a little longer, as the makers have announced that it’s been delayed.

The game was initially expected to be available during February 2006 but the markers, Namco, dropped the bombshell that fans will now have to wait until sometime in the summer of 2006. This isn’t the first Xbox 360 game that has been delayed, as other expected new releases have also been subject to setbacks.

When it finally is available, the wait should be worthwhile. Although it’s a single player game, Frame City Killer is being developed using the Unreal 3 engine and will take full advantage of the Xbox 360’s online functionality. The sci-fi action adventure shooter game is set in the year 2047 and features the life of Crow, a government assassin who’s got assignments to kills several bigwig drug cartels in the city. As such, it’s set to feature plenty of martial arts combat and futuristic gun play.

At the recent Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, Peter Moore from Microsoft mentioned that 50 games are expected to be made available in June, so it’s hoped that Frame City Killer will be included amongst them.
